I hadn’t seen the image you mention but I’ve just found it on a google and it’s a great picture. I wonder who the artist was?
Now, I can help you a little. This has been used in the "Rainha da Magia Negra" (Queen of Black Magic) by the Portuguese Heavy Metal band Midnight Priest.
They're from my town, and I immediately recognized the picture.
